Varta Saunders is a lifelong film lover, marketer, and mom living in Brooklyn, New York. Her love of movies started early, when her dad introduced her and her sister to film as little kids, sparking a fascination with cinema that has stayed with her ever since.
She created A–Z of Filmmakers for her daughter, Sky, out of a simple idea: the things we love are even better when we get to introduce them to our kids. The book is Varta’s way of passing along that same sense of discovery, one filmmaker, one image, and one letter at a time.
A–Z of Filmmakers is her first children’s book and a love letter to movies, made for the next generation of film lovers.
